Today, I went out for a bit and went to Sephora, Bath & Body Works, and Jo-Ann’s. First, at Sephora I got my birthday present. This included samples of Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara and Watt’s Up Highlighter.
So since yesterday was the first Sunday of the month, the Procter & Gamble ad was in my Sunday newspaper, which usually contains a few Covergirl coupons. In addition, Ulta has a 20% off your entire purchase coupon, so I of course had to stop by and pick up some things. First, we went to Target. I am almost out of my Elf eyelid primer, so I got a replacement.
While I was there, I saw that they finally had the Electro Babylips, so I purchased 95 Strike a Rose.
In the dollar section, I found mini Dove Go Fresh deodorants in Revive, which smells REALLY good, by the way.
We then went to Ulta. While we were there, I found a coupon for $1 off any Revlon Colorstay product. I purchased this gorgeous nail polish in 170 Coastal Surf.
Next, I bought a Covergirl LipPerfection lipstick in 410 Delight, which is stunning!
I found a nail color from Covergirl’s Outlast Stay Brilliant collection. This is 135 Constant Candy. It is a beautiful creamy baby pink with no shimmer.
The final thing I bought today is a Paul Mitchell Original Conditioner “The Detangler“. This is the same conditioner I’ve been using for a while, so this is just a replacement, as I’m almost out of my current bottle.
Sorry about the long break I’ve had in posting, School started for me two weeks ago, and I’m finally getting into the swing of things. I will try to post as often as I can, but I’m not going to say for sure what my schedule will be, as it will depend on how much homework I get each night. Thank you for sticking with me. You guys have no idea how happy your comments make me! Whenever WordPress emails me about a new follower or comment, I literally jump up and do a happy dance!! I love you guys so much, and I’ll post again as soon as possible!
Hey guys! I’m super excited, because my BHCosmetics order from HauteLook just came in today!
I ordered the 4th edition 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette and a Black Liquid Eyeliner.
The eyeliner has a felt tip that is on the thick side, but not too thick. The eyeliner is nice and black, there aren’t any obvious blue tones.
The eyeshadow palette is absolutely gorgeous. All of the eyeshadows are very smooth and pigmented. In this edition, they are all shimmery, and around 15 of them have obvious sparkles. There are two trays, each with 60 eyeshadows. The top tray has more bright colors, while the bottom tray has mostlly neutrals.
I am very excited to do lots of looks with this gorgeous palette. There are so many colors that I don’t know where to start! Please leave comments telling me what looks you would like to see! I’ll see you guys soon! 🙂

Hey guys, so on Saturday, my Von Maur hosted a Laura Mercier Face to Face event where they brought in makeup artists. As my mom is a big Laura Mercier fan, we went, and both were made over. Because I got quite a bit of stuff, I’m going to split it up into two sections; Face, and Eyes/Lips.
The first face product I got is Laura’s Mineral Face Primer. This almost feels like a moisturizer. I definitely noticed that my tinted moisturizer stayed way better than it ever has before. My face felt moisturized, but yet oil free. I would absolutely recommend this.
The next thing I got is the Secret Concealer in #1. This is a super creamy concealer, which is awesome. It does require quite a few layers, along with the brightener, in order to cover my dark circles. This concealer does a great job covering up redness around my nose, as well.
I got the Secret Brightener in #2. There are many concealers with similar applicators to this available, in both the drugstore, and in Sephora. I haven’t quite decided if I like this or not. It is super shimmery, as you can see from the picture. In my opinion, it makes my fine lines show up. I think this would be an awesome illuminator for cheekbones, but it accomplishes nothing on my dark circles.
The next purchase was the Mineral Powder SPF 15 in Soft Porcelain. I actually haven’t used this yet, as I got it for dance performances, so that the stage lights don’t make my face look really shiny. I really like the packaging of this, I think it will make the loose powder much less messy.
This is Part 1 of my Laura Mercier haul, I will post the blush, lip products, and eye products next post. Remember to comment and follow me, I always follow back!
